About: The Blacktorn Festival is a growing boutique one-day festival held in the Midlands of Ireland, specifically at the Gracefield GAA Grounds on the Offaly/Laois border near Portarlington. It will start running from 2:30pm to 10:00pm. There will be a large marquee tent set up for a full-day of live music. The Line-up for 2026 are Smash Hits, CLADA, Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones, Bon Jovee & Aoife Coady. The festival is known as a family-friendly, community-focused event featuring live music, food and drinks. The tickets are priced around €35 to €40 euro, usually available via Club Spot or at The Hawthorn Bar. Under 16s (or 14 in some notices) must be accompanied by an adult. Before you head into the festival the security searches are in place and alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the grounds, though a bar is available on-site. The event is known for having good site organization with plenty of space. The festival has quickly become a popular addition to the Midlands Summer Event calender, often attracting large crowds for a mix of tribute acts and local music.
