Banagher was selected for the Bank of Ireland’s national competition to find the country’s most enterprising town last September. Only three towns were selected in the county and the judges visited Banagher on Tuesday 5th September 2017. Banagher was awarded 1st Runner Up in Leinster Region of BOI Enterprising Towns at the Awards Ceremony. This is a fantastic achievement for Banagher and a much needed boost to the spirits!
