Banagher Precast Concrete has been manufacturing precast concrete products in Banagher since 1949 and precast prestressed bridge beams since 1965 – they invented the now industry standard ‘W Beam’ and ‘MY Beam’. Today the company employs over 250 people on their 50 acre site in Banagher. They design and manufacture a wide range of precast for largescale infrastructure and building projects including bridge beams, culverts, bespoke precast, portal frames, U-ducts, tunnel segments, wall panels, fire walls, marine and railway products. The company is also well known for introducing the 6-gang cattle slat to Ireland, manufacturing thousands each year for agricultural use.
