About: The 29th Annual Slieve Bloom Walking Festival will take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend. The three-day walking festival begins on Saturday, 3rd of May the ends on Monday, 5th of May 2025. This year the Slieve Bloom Walking Club celebrates it’s 29th year with a wide variety of walks. The festival offers a choice of woodland and riverside walks among the gentle rolling hills of The Slieve Blooms in the centre of Ireland. There are experienced walk leaders who will enhance your hike with stories of local history, geology & fauna. They have A, B & C walks, the C & B walks are easy to moderate with a more strenuous. A walk which is more suitable for the more experienced hiker. Further details will be available on The Slieve Bloom Website nearer to the date. Payment for this Walking Festival is €8 per walk, €20 includes for Festival & Annual Subscription (individual) or €30 for Festival & annual Subscription (Family).
